Apple is finalizing details of an option to group several of its services under one subscription. Under the name of Apple One (at least that’s how it’s known in the firm’s environment), it would offer the customer different company platforms at a reduced price.
This new option could be officially presented alongside the iPhone 12, whose launch date has not yet been officially revealed. According to the most recent leaks, it will be in October when Apple unveils its new range of smartphones.
Apple One will bring together some of the many services now available to the Californian technology company. Last year, the firm added TV+, News+ and Arcade, which joined Apple Music as the hubs of subscription-based content distribution.
The arrival of such an option by the company has long been in doubt. This means that there will be different combinations from which the user will be able to choose. The options currently being considered are the following:
- Apple Music with Apple TV+
- Apple Music with Apple TV+ and Apple Arcade
- Apple Music with Apple TV+, Apple Arcade and Apple News+
- Apple Music with Apple TV+, Apple Arcade, Apple News+ and extra space on iCloud
Additionally, there will be another higher priced option that includes all of the above along with a subscription to a new virtual fitness class service.
All subscriptions will be compatible with Family Sharing and will result in a monthly savings of between 2 and 5 dollars compared to the cost of individual subscriptions for the services they bring together.
