U.S. President Donald Trump said Sunday that he wants to send experts to China to investigate how the outbreak of the coronavirus arose and said his government is in constant talks with the Asian country, although their requests have been rejected on several occasions.

“We are talking to China, we talked to them a long time ago about going, we want to go,” the president said during a press conference Sunday at the White House.

The president began the briefing by announcing that negotiations are continuing with the Democrats in Congress to approve economic aid for small businesses in the country and hopes that an agreement will be reached in the next few hours.
