Very bad news. Data from more than 1,200,000 people around the world has been leaked, information that seemed to come from the same organization, according to DataViper, a company specializing in computer security.
This leak has harmed nearly 16% of the world’s population and is currently considered the fourth largest known. Names, emails, phone numbers or Facebook or LinkedIn profiles are some of the data that has been exposed.
This information appeared to be located on a server that could be accessed via http://126.96.36.199:9200, which did not require a login.
So far, it is not known who has been responsible for this, as the service provider has refused to share data about its customers for privacy reasons. Even so, it is speculated that it could have been OxyData or People Data Labs.
