Every now and then we feel the unstoppable requisite to escape from daily routine and experience something different at least for a while. That is how roughly 20 million citizens feel every year and yearn for an adventure in Greece, and most of the times, Greek islands. Their appeal is irresistible and all these guests give whatever it takes to rush into that beautiful Mediterranean country in the southeast Europe. But what can you actually do there? Follow us in our exploration of four fantastic Greek islands.

Zante

It is located in the Ionian Sea on the west of Greece. It’s only a two-hour journey from Kyllini. Upon arrival in the island of Zante (Zakynthos, in Greek) you must visit the historical church of St. Dionysius. It’s a local landmark that will leave you speechless with its vastness and architecture. Except for the church, you should visit Bohali (the old town of Zante). That place offers lovely views of the new town and the port and it magnetizes its visitors thanks to the unique coloring of the dwellings. “Shipwreck” beach is also famous not only around Greece, but all over the world. You can visit it by small boats at a very low fare. It’s one of the most exhilarating spaces to be in your life. Just remember to catch the early boat because otherwise you’ll find it difficult to land a place at the beach and enjoy a swim. Last but not least, ask to be transferred to the beaches where Caretta-caretta turtles lay their eggs. They are awesome creatures that will move you deeply to your soul. Truly heart-melting animals!

Corfu

Moving on further north we come across Corfu. It is found on the most northern part of the Ionian Sea. This island is easily accessible either by boat from Italy or nearby islands or by car or bus from the mainland and an extra journey at the end. Its great history has always allured thousands of tourists. In fact, this grand past is still present through buildings, statues and monuments. For instance, Achillion Palace will help you familiarize with the archaic life of people in Corfu and their habits. But not only that. You have to immerse into local cuisine as you are going to taste dishes which will stigmatize you forever. All in all, it’s an extraordinary island that combines vintage with modern culture and attitude and rocky waters with mountainous slopes. P.S. Take a tour to as many villages as possible. You won’t regret it!

Santorini

Santorini…What can we say about it? It’s like a living myth, like a dream coming true or like a real fairytale. When entering the Caldera bay, you realize that Mother Nature has really created something special there. It comes as no surprise then that dozens of couples even from Asia rush into this blessed place to exchange vows of eternal love. It’s sheer magic. Let’s start with the incredible sunset that makes almost all the guests of the island to take a seat and just watch till the sun dives into the horizon and the crowd bursts into clapping. It goes without saying that you will visit the little island next to Santorini where the crater of the volcano still emits gases like sulfur. It’s not the most economical place to be, but you sincerely can’t miss it no matter what.

Mykonos port

Mykonos

And here we are in the most prominent island all around Greece. It has been attracting local and overseas celebrities for ages. That is where parties never stop and people never sleep, especially during the summer. There is a beach and a beach bar for every taste; from really crowded and elite to secluded and lonely ones. But the icing on this out-of-this-world cake is the insuperable Clubzak Mykonos villas. They can accommodate from eight to thirty-six clients and are pretty budget choices since rates range from 100€ per person for each night. They are spread all over the island so you won’t have a problem finding the right one for you and your company. In fact, you’ll find yourself spoilt for choice and the only thing you’ll regret afterwards is that you didn’t book more nights in the first place. Insurmountable Mykonos villas by Clubzak are just a click away! Go get them!!
