Game of Thrones was a huge TV hit. The adaptation of the Song of Ice and Fire novels, written by George R. R. Martin, has left us with all kinds of works, including some board games. Among them is the work of Edge Entertainment, which is considered one of the best board games of the last decade.
According to the website Kotaku, the publisher Asmodee Digital will bring A Game of Thrones: The Board Game to PC in a new video game with Dire Wolf, managers of Raiders of the North Sea and Pokémon: Trading Card Game Online. Although the title had been announced for some time, it was only now that it had completed its launch window.
The game will bring to PC the board mechanics including animations.
Its estimated launch date is in the third quarter of 2020 and it is intended to be a representation of the PC board game. This means that the mechanics will be the same, but will include menus and animations typical of video games. There are already several expansions to the board game, but they are not covered in this PC adaptation at this time.
