NVIDIA is assisting Konami with the PC version of Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain, and it appears that the game will be bundled with NVIDIA’s GeForce graphics cards.
Leaked by Reddit and subsequently confirmed by Newegg, Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain will replace Batman: Arkham Knight in NVIDIA’s promotional deal.
Newegg’s support wrote:
“Hi everyone! We had a little slip up and posted this deal ahead of schedule. It is not currently available, but stay tuned, it will be soon! Newegg Support -Tori”
While Newegg support did not detail what GPU models will be featured in the bundle, it can be assumed that, they will be similar to the Batman Arkham Knight deal, and that the game will bundled with NVIDIA’s GTX970, GTX980 and GTX980Ti, and quite likely Titan X.
The Japanese voice actor behind Solid Snake, Akio Otsuka, has reported that Kojima Productions was forced to disband, and that their efforts in creating their biggest masterpiece with Metal Gear Solid V is almost complete.
Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain went down a storm at E3 2015 receiving a plethora of nominations and awards, including IGN’s Game of the Show, Gamespot’s Best of E3, Polygon’s Editor’s Choice and many more. The full list of nomination and awards can be viewed here.
