Epic has just announced that Season 3 of Fortnite Chapter 2 is delayed again, although this time it won’t be for long. Only one more week, so on June 11th we should have the news of this next stage coming up.
This means that the event that was to take place the day after tomorrow is also delayed. You know, the one that the countdown to the game was aimed at. This one will finally take place on Saturday, June 6th, so mark it on the calendar so you won’t miss it. It’s called The Device, by the way. Epic revealed his name today for the first time.
The long season 2 of Fortnite Chapter 2 will soon be over. After a considerable delay in the start of Season 3 which was due on April 30th, Epic Games is starting to warm up for the change.
As Epic Games confirmed in mid-April after announcing the delay, the kick-off for Season 3 of Chapter 2 will finally come on June 4. Ahead is another round of challenges to be released on Thursday and an end-of-season event scheduled for next Saturday.
The Midas event that will cap off Season 2 will be held at The Agency on Saturday, May 30 at 2:05pm ET. This is indicated by the counter that appeared a few days ago flying over the same area of the map.
Although nothing is confirmed and Epic always keeps a few surprises up his sleeve, the final event of the season seems to be closely related to Midas and their End of the World machine.
The hatches around The Agency seem to be closely related to the event and, judging from some of the posters that have appeared on the map, people are pointing to a possible flood. It remains to be seen if the diving animation we saw at Travis Scott’s event had a more transcendental destination.
