The title of Niantic, Harry Potter: Wizards Unite already has a release date and is closer than we could expect. This Friday, June 21, it will land on Android and iOS.
Two years after the company announced it and after several beta phases, Niantic will launch worldwide Harry Potter’s Pokémon Go, one of the most awaited titles by fans of the saga created by J.K. Rowling.
The title, in augmented reality, will lead players to explore the world around them and find all sorts of magical creatures, many mythical in the saga. You’ll also have to cast a varied list of spells and enchantments, as well as meet some of the most characteristic characters in the movies.
Will it have the same success as his predecessor? Pokémon Go arrived in the summer of 2016 and in just a few days achieved an overwhelming number of downloads and then became a worldwide phenomenon. Not even the company itself expected such a resounding success. In two days we can see if Harry Potter: Wizards Unite is a worthy rival against Pokémon Go.
