It was Ubisoft’s big surprise for their Ubisoft Forward event, although it leaked a few days ago and the surprise is no longer a big deal. However, that doesn’t take away the merits of ‘Far Cry 6’, which in its first official cinematic trailer shows a spectacular atmosphere on the stages and part of the plot of the game. Ubisoft promises to release it in February next year.
In ‘Far Cry 6’ one of the main characters is Anton Castileroux, a dictator who governs the tropical country in which ‘Far Cry 6’ is set. The main character will sound like many, and he is played by Giancarlo Esposito, who played the character Gus in Breaking Bad. During this first trailer we see him telling, apparently, his son how he will be president in the future. With a country halfway through the revolution.
Ubisoft has also confirmed the release date of ‘Far Cry 6’. The new videogame will arrive on February 18, 2021, so we will still have to wait a little bit to enjoy it. It will be available for PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, Stadia and PC through the Uplay and Epic Game Store.
Ubisoft indicates that the game is currently in development but those players who reserve it will have access to some extra features such as the ‘Freedom’ pack which offers a few extra weapons and suits. Also, those who buy it for PS4 or Xbox One will be able to get a free copy for PS5 or Xbox Series X once they are available.
