Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout is unstoppable. Mediatonic and Devolver Digital’s battle royale got off to a great start in early August, with 2 million Steam sales in just over a week, not to mention PS4 downloads thanks to PlayStation Plus. In fact, yesterday we learned that this title is already the most downloaded PS Plus game in its history, which is no small thing, and has also announced its new achievement in the PC version.
According to Devolver Digital in social networks, Fall Guys already exceeds the 7 million games sold on Steam. In the 16-day timeframe since the 2 million reported on August 10, the game has added 5 million copies to its credit on PC alone. And if the exact numbers are known on PS4, we’re likely to see a single month’s worth of sales for a game other than Triple A.
As the North American publisher’s account adds, its fictional director Nina Struthers already said in one of the famous Return conferences of the past: “Fall Guys looks incredible, it’s going to get in tons, I’m going to get rich”. But joking aside, the fact is that the success of this game doesn’t seem to wane after a few weeks since its release, and it has become one of the most talked about titles on the networks in the main markets.
