Paradigm and Just Die Already are the two free (and very bizarre) games this week on Epic Games Store. On Thursday, May 5, they will be replaced by Terraforming Mars

Epic Games Store has been updated with two new free games that we can add throughout this week to our library and keep it forever without having to pay for them. This week’s selection offers us two of the strangest video games we can play on PC: on the one hand there is Paradigm, a highly recommended surreal graphic adventure, while on the other we have Just Die Already, the latest project from the creator of Goat Simulator which, unlike the previous one, is not particularly good. Both will be available at zero cost until May 5.

Paradigm, created by Jacob Janerka, is a surreal adventure game set in the strange, post-apocalyptic Eastern European country of Krusz. It stars “the handsome mutant Paradigm, whose past comes back to haunt him in the form of a genetically engineered sloth that vomits candy.” It is usually priced at €11.99 on the Epic Games Store, but during this week you can get it for free through this link.

Just Die Already, from the creator of Goat Simulator, shares a formula with that successful sandbox, although it changes the goats for old people who break in half at the first change. A bloody experiment of which we said in our review that it is “a crazy and crude open-world action experience that doesn’t quite fit because of its grotesque physical comedy with old people, its vulgar teenage humor and its poor technical quality”. It usually costs €13.99 on the Epic Games Store, but you can get it for free until next Thursday at this link.

Anyone who wants to try these bizarre video games can get them for free this week on the Epic Games Store. Once claimed, they will be available in the platform’s library forever, with no paid account or subscription required. When these two games are no longer available for free, they will be replaced by another one that has already been announced: Terraforming Mars will be the next free game on Epic Games Store and will be available at zero cost from May 5 to 12.
