Football is a sport, but today it is fundamentally a business.
Football and money live a constant idyll. So those responsible for this sport do not lose business opportunity. In the same way, the cake of video games does not stop growing. The industry already surpassed the barrier of 100,000 million dollars (in 2017 they supposed a business of 108,000 million dollars).
All this is reflected in football video games, which are basically two. FIFA, the most popular and PES, now eFootball PES. The first is from Electronic Arts (EA) and the second from Konami.
Their fight to win in sales and market share goes through real football, through real teams, which manage to add to their game. In that race, the week leaves us two protagonists, two of the biggest football teams on the planet: Juventus and Liverpool. FIFA consolidates its relationship with the English team and PES takes the Italian. The fact is that the “signing” of Juventus by PES hurts EA a lot. Because Konami has announced that eFootball PES 2020 will have the license of Juventus of Turin… exclusively.
The video game will be released on September 20 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.
