Codemasters didn’t want to miss out on today’s Inside Xbox either, and took full advantage of it, unveiling the newest instalment of their off-road driving game, DiRT 5, at the event.
The game will take us through iconic, exotic and scenic settings, such as New York and Rio de Janeiro, as well as remote areas in Greece and China, among other places. A wide variety of vehicle classes will be available for competition, from buggies, unlimited trucks and rock bouncers to modern rally cars. Race mode will be narrative driven and will take us through all kinds of events and challenges, with a non-linear progression path, plus plenty of customization options.
The game will once again feature split-screen mode that allows up to 4 players to play locally at the same time. Among the modes announced for now is a new one focused on creativity and designed for social play with friends or global online battles against the best runners in the DIRT universe.
DiRT 5 will be released in October for Xbox Series X, Playstation 5, PC, Xbox One and Playstation 4. It will also be available on Google Stadia in early 2021.
